The world of manufacturing is being disrupted by digital transformation and only those that see it as an opportunity, rather than a problem, will thrive.
Industry 4.0 enables a manufacturer to do more with less - less energy, materials, waste and people - all of which lead to bottom-line improvement and longer-term sustainability.
Those that are already on the journey to Industry 4.0 are becoming smart(er) manufacturers and reaping rewards by claiming the early-adopter advantage.
Whether it's education through keynotes and workshops, or advisory, consulting and strategy development, RealisePotential is Australia's leading agnostic Industry 4.0 and smart factory business.
We have an enviable reputation for getting the rubber to hit the road, so feel free to explore our services and educational offerings, and let us help you become a 21st century manufacturer.
WHAT OTHERS SAY
Here are just some of the testimonials that highlight our skills and expertise.
I've known John for almost 20 years and in 2014, called on his 'smart factory' experience to help me bring to life a new and unique state-of-the-art ready-meal production facility in Sydney.
John took on managing the various equipment vendors, ensuring their kit could be integrated into the overall strategic plan he helped us create, as well as liaising with various departments within the business, such as engineering, operations and IT.
The result is a factory which, 5 years on, is still a leading and high-quality manufacturer with a world-class fully integrated communications landscape, including the ERP.
John's awareness and experience, that it is a combination of process, people and systems which all have to work in concert, sets him apart from those that are only technology-focussed.
If you're considering your production facility becoming 'smart', I can highly recommend John as a true leader in this space.

John was instrumental in helping Coca-Cola Amatil set up a world-class injection moulding factory in Eastern Creek, Sydney, to become a ‘smart factory’.
He coordinated a team of international equipment vendors, to ensure their kit complied with ‘open’ communication standards, as well as designing the overall plant information architecture.
He was heavily involved in the commissioning too and took ownership of all the vendors, to ensure the go-live date was met. In our case there’s seamless real-time vertical communication between SAP and the factory floor, as well as horizontal communication between all the disparate systems that out-of-the-box, wouldn’t have communicated with each other.
The factory was commissioned in Nov 2011 and the stability of the design has been phenomenal, with legendary uptime and minimal issues.
We recently added world-first functionality with new equipment and once again, John was my go-to person to ensure it would all fit into the existing fully-integrated landscape.
He really does understand all this stuff and not just the ‘tech’, so if you’re looking for a smart factory specialist who openly shares his knowledge, to help you reduce costs and improve manufacturing visibility, then look no further, as I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending John for such as role.

John has presented at a number of Industry Partners Australia (IPA) Roundtable events on the topic of Industry 4.0 and the response to these have been exceptional.
Over the last two decades John has supported manufacturing businesses in understanding and implementing the key aspects of smart factories, in terms of people, systems and processes, as well as creating strategic roadmaps for them to follow.
John brings a clarity to a topic which can be confusing and complex. He has the ability to cut through the jargon and confusion and get right to what Industry 4.0 is, and what the benefits are to those that embrace it.
From a high level systems view right down to functions assessment his ability to communicate this is fantastic.

I have had the privilege to work with John for the past 5 years when we engaged his company to develop an MES system and integrate shopfloor systems into our ERP system.
John is one of those rare people that has a wealth of knowledge, incredibly broad knowledge base and enjoys sharing and mentoring others.
John played a crucial role in not only design, implementation and integration but also ensuring basic business principles were in place and followed. He “gets the big picture”!
John has knowledge and wants to share it, I think that’s actually his driving force.
His in-depth knowledge of systems and integration was invaluable in implementing a key system in our business. I continue to work with John on many new systems and enhancements and hope to do so for many, many years to come.
On a personal level, john is one of the few people in my career that have been a real mentor, on numerous levels. He is “real”, genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge and continually learning and growing himself. A valuable asset to any project.

John’s Industry 4.0 session was engaging, insightful and thought provoking.
His knowledge, built through years of hands on experience, was reflected in the way he methodically walked attendees through the ‘what’, ‘how’ and ‘why’ of digitisation and Industry 4.0 in an interactive session.
If you are trying to get your head around Industry 4.0, and what it means for your business, I’d thoroughly recommend attending one of John’s sessions.
